Assalamu ‘Alaikum
We are the future. Today’s skilled Muslim professionals are continuing to establish their brilliance in the professional world while proudly adhering to the tenants of Islam. But this is nothing new, the Ummah of Prophet Muhammedﷺ has produced a countless number of pioneering minds in the fields of technology, math, science, and medicine throughout human history.
TECH
Young Developers Reshaping the Future for Muslims in Tech

The Muslim Tech Expo 3.0 was not just another conference, it exemplified that Muslims aren’t just bystanders trying to follow the latest trends, but actually at the forefront of building the new digital age. Held earlier this month in Lagos, Nigeria, the Expo brought together founders, developers, designers, engineers, and students from across the Ummah to exchange ideas on how to advance the Muslim cause while excelling in technical skills.
Speakers like Sodeeq Elusoji (Scandium Inc.) and Saheed Badru (AI Products) spoke about how maintaining as much ambition in their deen as they do in their dunya helps them unlock innovative ideas and solutions in their fields.
Other panelists also engaged in live design challenges and mentoring sessions to curate the current; and next generation of Muslim tech talent, which was one of the core objectives of the Expo. It wasn’t just a run of the mill networking event; but a serious initiative of collaboration and community; to create a platform empowering Muslims to define their leading role within the global tech industry.
Part of this leadership as Muslims is to be upright examples for ethical practices in the tech business, not because of company bi-laws, but because the laws of Allahﷻ and His Messengerﷺ command it. Piety is not at all an obstacle to technological prosperity; but a competitive advantage; because of the barakah that comes out of it.

GAZA
Gazan Sister Displays Unwavering Resourcefulness in the Midst of Tragedy

Subhanallah….Sister Enas Al-Ghoul, a Palestinian environmental engineer that specializes in rural development and renewable energy, developed a solar-powered desalination device to fulfill the dire need for drinkable water in Gaza.
The Messengerﷺ said:
“The best form of charity is giving water to drink”
May Allahﷻ reward and preserve sister Enas; for using the skills she was blessed with to aid her people with the best form of charity. She is elevated above our heads, as well as her people. While suffering the greatest lost and hardships imaginable, she is creating productive engineering solutions to provide a scarce everyday need we often take for granted.
May Allahﷻ aid and protect the people of Gaza, keep them steadfast to their deen, and accept the martyrs into the highest station in Jannah.
As for those who struggle in Our cause, We will surely guide them along Our Way. And Allah is certainly with the good-doers. Surah Al-’Ankabut 69:29
